After visiting the central part of the Galapagos Islands, we sailed west towards the youngest islands of the archipelago.

We started our day with a visit to Punta Vicente Roca on Isla Isabela. We embarked on a Zodiac ride, where we marveled at the imposing Ecuador Volcano and its geological formations. During the ride, we spotted flightless cormorants, sea turtles, swimming penguins, and even saw mola molas (oceanic sunfish) leaping from the water.

After the Zodiac ride, we enjoyed an amazing snorkeling session at Vicente Roca. It was a spectacular experience as we swam alongside sea lions, penguins, and green sea turtles. Some turtles were swimming gracefully, while others rested like rocks on the ocean floor.

In the afternoon, we visited Punta Espinoza on Isla Fernandina. This area was teeming with wildlife. We saw Sally Lightfoot crabs, sea lions lounging on the sandy shores, and marine iguanas scattered everywhere. As the day ended, we witnessed a sunset like no other, a stunning display that can only be experienced in the Galapagos.
