Isabela is one of the youngest islands of the Galapagos and in the morning we explored Urbina bay, situated at the foot of Alcedo volcano. We saw a Flightless cormorant resting on a lava rock at the beach, Giant tortoises walking in the wild, hermit crabs, Galapagos land iguanas, Darwin finches, Galapagos mockingbirds, and the arid vegetation zone.

In the afternoon we had kayaking activities and a Zodiac cruise in Tagus Cove. It is a historical site that was used as an anchorage for pirates, whalers and other early visitors.

We saw, Galapagos penguins, pelicans, cormorants, heron, sally light-footed crabs etc.
