Southeast Asia is an amazing haven, and today we had the honor of visiting a gracious group of villagers who have been our hosts over the years.
Today we touched upon Kananga Beach and Village and were greeted by a large group of people, including dancers, immersing us into the culture of this location. Guests were moved by the happy, respectful school children, their beach welcome, and the fact that National Geographic Orion was so close to shore.
In the afternoon our guests were given an opportunity to snorkel for the first time off our snorkel platform. We had a great time exploring the underwater world.
This day full of rich experiences was appreciated by all as the sun set and National Geographic Orion’s Zodiacs were put to rest.
What a perfect first day for our guests.
