After cruising all night, the National Geographic Sea Bird woke to sunshine this morning. We were surrounded by the ice bergs of LeConte Glacier. The new moon meant the tide was extremely low and we had the privilege of observing hundreds of abstract blue ice sculptures stranded on the shore. After two spectacular rounds of Zodiac cruises, we headed to the fishing town of Petersburg for an afternoon that was packed with activities including hikes, photo walks and even flight seeing.
