This morning National Geographic Quest arrived at Lime Caye where the guests wasted no time gearing up for snorkeling and diving. A few of the divers even went by catamaran into the deep section of this gorgeous Caye that is part of the Sapodilla Marine Reserve in the south of Belize. Those who decided to work on snorkeling first went to a part of the caye where they could get some practice in, but also walk the beach, birdwatch, and work on their photography.

Guests spent the day zipping between the beach and the catamaran, taking in as many of the reef’s varying angles and atmospheres as they possibly could. By the time we boarded National Geographic Quest for the evening, we were in consensus that what took place in the hours proceeding was nothing less than time and experience well spent.
