Today we woke up anchored outside of El Barril , a stunning mangrove forest where we are set to explore via kayaks and Zodiacs. We looked for birds, turtles, rays, and dolphins this morning while we explored the mangroves. What a lovely morning!
Next, we set sail up the Hull Canal towards Puerto Lopez Mateos to go searching for gray whales. On our way we had a pod of bow-riding bottlenose dolphins join us which was so beautiful.
We finished our day enjoying a performance by the local band, Los Coyotes, as well as local dancers, the Desert Flowers. Many of our guests joined in the dancing as we were at a fiesta!
It was another amazing day in Magdalena Bay.
