We had another incredible first day aboard National Geographic Sea Lion with our new batch of guests! Our morning began with a trek through the canals of Misty Fjords, past Owl’s Pass and into God’s Pocket. We were literally off the map! On our morning Zodiac tours and kayaking outings we saw waterfowl, seals, gulls, and simply the serene beauty of this stunning swath of wilderness area. After a delicious lunch, the ship ventured out of the fjords where we encountered bow-riding Dall’s porpoises and even a peek at two humpback whales along a rainy island coast.
