Good morning from Southeast Alaska! Today began perfectly. As we entered Misty Fjords, the waterways were like glass. No wind at all. This is our last full day on board, and it is packed with adventure!
First, we anchored in the breathtaking Punchbowl Cove for kayaking and paddleboarding, and almost everyone partook because the weather was so perfect. Afterwards, we cruised through Misty Fjords, continuing to be in awe by the nonstop beauty of this place. Next stop will be a place called God’s Pocket. Two fruitful salmon streams empty into this cove, making it a great place to explore by Zodiacs – and that we did. We went looking for harbor seals, beavers, mink, and bears! We got very lucky with our sightings, and some guests even took a little shower under a waterfall.
Before we pulled up anchor, a handful of guests took a quick dip into the chilly water for a polar plunge! Another stunning day in Southeast Alaska.
