Today we spent time the northern end of the Peninsula in an area off Graham Land. It was day for hikes up to overviews to enjoy the stunning scenery. There was also lots of time to sit and savor of the frenetic behavior of the Gentoo penguin colonies. We saw newly hatched chicks and a few seals resting on the ice. It was a change from the last couple of days south of Antarctic Circle and a great day exploring what this part of the this unique continent has to offer.
