Despite a long travel day the day before, a lot of folks were ready for the early breakfast and landing on the rocky coast of North Seymour, where the temperature was perfect, the lighting was perfect, and the breeze was perfect. The wildlife did what they have done for millennia; they perched, they fed their young, and they competed among each other.
The afternoon was very different, equally enthralling. Our guests donned their masks, fins and wetsuits, to explore the enchanting underwater surroundings of Rabida Island, with its red, iron-oxide coastline. Snorkelers saw marine turtles, many species of tropical and subtropical fish, and some even glimpsed a Galapagos penguin (but no photo was had!).
