We had an absolutely beautiful morning. We started with an early breakfast as we planned a long skiff exploration to reach the deepest part of the Pacaya Samiria Reserve. Pacaya River is made up of black water and an exuberant forest that reflects itself on the black water of the river, giving the impression of a jungle and a giant mirror.

As we explored the forest, we had some amazing sightings! The trees were full of surprises as there were thousands of birds and troops of howler monkeys, to the delight of everyone!

In the afternoon, we enjoyed our navigation down the great Ucayali River. It was time to relax after a proper exploration of the best part of the reserve.
