Anchoring this morning in Port Althorp, at the end of Idaho Inlet, we watched lion’s mane jellyfish pulse past National Geographic Sea Lion as we prepared for a full day of operations.  Expedition landing crafts zipped to shore to start long bushwhacking hikes, interpretative walks, and kayak paddles around the inlet.  During lunch, we repositioned the ship to one of our favorite places in Alaska, the Inian Islands.  The wildlife definitely came to play!  Another great day in Southeast Alaska!
