This morning, we kicked off activities early. Shortly after we had dropped anchor in Mentebung, we began disembarkation into the Zodiacs headed for Pulau Lintang.

Today’s activity was snorkelling and Lintang did not disappoint. The reef was healthy, with a plethora of different corals in high concentration. There was an abundance of both plate and boulder coral together, which is a reef health indicator.

Once back on board, we enjoyed brunch before listening to Krista discuss what it is like to be on assignment with National Geographic. And finally, we listened to Captain Leo’s farewell speech at cocktails after reminiscing on the trip accompanied by a great slide show. We also auctioned off an illustrated chart, going toward the crew fund.
