Today National Geographic Endeavour II arrived to San Cristobal Island. It is almost the end of this expedition, and just when we start to feel as if we have seen it all, the surprises continue to arise. The morning hike was full of wildlife sightings, and sea lions were resting at the beach ready to play with us during the snorkeling excursion.

Everything was spectacular, amazing views from the top of the mountain, excellent weather and so many things to see. The highlight from today was the red-footed boobies—they were everywhere, nesting in the trees, and some of the juveniles were ready to take off for the first time! For our last excursion of the week, we ended our expedition with a nice and relaxing walk along Cerro Brujo Beach, where the kids enjoyed the waves while sea birds flew overhead.
