We are having a great journey around the Galapagos Islands, with wonderful weather conditions and plentiful wildlife around us. Today we visited Isabela Island. We celebrated crossing the equatorial line and then we explored in Zodiacs and also by going snorkeling. Penguins, cormorants, frigates, Nazca boobies, and the magnificent geological scenery were just astonishing. Marine turtles and multicolor fish were swimming along the coast with us.
In the afternoon, we went to La Cumbre, the most active volcano on earth. There we walked along the coast to observe big colonies of marine iguanas, hawks, and sea lions. The sunset was superb, followed by stargazing. It’s been an incredible and memorable journey!
