San Cristobal Island has one of the largest populations of Galapagos sea lions in the Galapagos Archipelago. Today, our guests enjoyed their last opportunity to interact with them on the beach and in the water. We also learned important facts about these endemic marine mammals. The Galapagos would certainly not be the same without them on our beaches.

This island is home to nesting colonies of many sea bird species, including the three species of boobies, frigatebirds, shearwaters, petrels, and pelicans. Additionally, it hosts some endemic animals, such as San Cristobal mockingbirds, San Cristobal lava lizards, and several endemic plants.
