It is the last day of the expedition and we cannot believe we have seen so many new creatures. Aboard National Geographic Islander the surprises have been nonstop.

Today we are on San Cristobal Island, the capital of the archipelago, and during our morning hike we spotted the red footed boobies, the lava lizard, and mockingbirds, both of them endemic of this beautiful Island.

After our hike, we went swimming along a green sandy beach with sea lions and some marine birds. However, the highlight was the afternoon when we finished our journey walking along the  soft sandy beach at Gardner Bay during the sunset.
