You know you have it made when there’s no place else you’d rather be. And today, the place to be was San Ignacio Lagoon, one of the three major California gray whale hot spots along the Pacific Coast of Baja California. During winter, the gray whales migrate here from their feeding grounds in the Arctic to give birth and raise their young in the protected, shallow waters in the lagoons.
