Early this morning after a wonderful breakfast we took a short ride by skiff to visit the small community of San Jorge. This visit gave us a wonderful opportunity to learn about how the people form this remote part of the world make a living. The people at San Jorge where very friendly and had they invited us into their homes, and through our naturalists to translate we learn on how these people manage to live from the river with what the river gives them. We also visited the little school to talk to the kids, and saw and purchased some of the handcrafts made by them.
