As the sun was coming up, National Geographic Sea Lion slowly approached the massive rocks and famous arch at Land’s End, both synonymous with the city of Cabo San Lucas at the tip of the Baja Peninsula. Soon after, we continued on to the harbor at San Jose del Cabo, tied–up to the dock, and boarded buses to explore the city, and the nearby estuary, a great birding hotspot! After returning to the ship we set sail for the rest of the afternoon, looking for marine mammals and other creatures in the lush area around Gorda Banks.
