This is the most anticipated day of our expedition! Santa Cruz Island, the most inhabited island of the Galapagos archipelago, has a lot to offer.

We visited the Charles Darwin Research Station and the headquarters of the Galapagos National Park where we observed Galapagos giant tortoises. Saddleback giant tortoises were seen at the Giant Tortoise Breeding Center, and in the highlands, our guests were delighted to see the dome shell tortoises of Santa Cruz.

The day was not over though, as we all enjoyed a performance by a local group of musicians. Santa Cruz was an incredible experience and we learned so much.
