Today we arrived in the northwest area of Santa Cruz Island. We visited Dragon Hill in the morning and witnessed a couple of Galapagos land iguanas fighting for territory along the trail. This behavior is not easy to observe; it was one of the day’s highlights!
A snorkeling session was filled with marine life, and the sun was shining.
In the afternoon, we enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Borrero’s Bay while kayaking, paddleboarding, and exploring the coast of this beautiful mangrove paradise in Zodiacs. We observed three species of baby sharks, including baby hammerheads! Back on board, we circumnavigated Daphne Major Islet and enjoyed a tasting of regional wines at sunset.
