Today is the first full day of our expedition. We woke up anchored in Academy Bay and started our day with an early morning stretch. Right after, we had a delicious breakfast and a photography talk by our National Geographic certified photo instructor. After our fun activities on board, we were ready to land in Santa Cruz for our exciting day.
We headed straight to the highlands to visit various spots. Our first stop was a local farm owned by Don Adriano. He taught us about the different products they produce. Next, we visited the pit craters and the giant tortoises at El Manzanillo. There, we enjoyed a delicious lunch and had a unique interaction with these wonderful creatures.
