Early morning is the best time of the day to observe wildlife as it is not too hot, so we embarked on our Zodiacs to explore Santa Fe Island, home of the pale land iguana. As we walked through the dry forest, very large prickly pear cacti could be appreciated. The land iguanas were resting underneath, and photographing them was an easy task.

In the afternoon, our last afternoon, we opted for a relaxed outing on Wizard Hill. A magnificent, white sandy beach inhabited by sea lions was the perfect place to end our Galapagos expedition.
