Today National Geographic Islander was located near Santiago Island, where we stayed the entire day exploring this magical place.  We started early in the morning with pre/breakfast option activities like kayaking, a naturalist walk, or a photography walk along Espumilla Beach. Wildlife was everywhere; blue-footed boobies plunging into the ocean, sea lions playing in the waves, and some nice vegetation growing along the coast - perfect conditions to remember.

After a buffet breakfast, the sun started to rise, and we got ready to jump into the water to snorkel with sharks and full colored fish. The water was clear and warm as we explored a cave were the reflection of lights coming in was glorious.

To end the day, we had a relaxing walk along the coast. During this sunset walk, we spotted, very close to us, four hawks! Lots of seabirds, marine iguanas, and plenty of baby sea lions. On our return, the crew had for us a surprise BBQ on the sky deck.

It was another fantastic day aboard National Geographic Islander!
