Today we visited Santiago Island. Our first stop was a pre-breakfast outing to Urbina Bay, a beautiful sandy beach. Some guests took part in a photo walk with Walter Perez, a naturalist and National Geographic photo instructor. Other guests enjoyed a natural history walk, and a third group kayaked as the sun rose. What a wonderful place to start the morning!
During breakfast, we sailed to Buccaneer Cove where to snorkel with sea lions, rays, and colorful fishes. Other guest enjoyed kayaking or sightseeing from the glass bottom boat.
Then we headed to Puerto Egas on Santiago Island. After siesta, we made our way to a black sandy beach to swim, snorkel, and simply relax. We ended the day with a natural history walk along the coastline of Puerto Egas during sunset. What a wonderful day!
