This morning we went for a walk to Espumilla Beach on Santiago Island. Here we observed a number of bird species, such as blue-footed boobies and brown pelicans. We finished the morning by snorkeling along the shore of Buccaneer Cove.

In the afternoon we had lunch, and then we visited Puerto Egas. This wonderful shoreline was great scenery for photographers, as we spent some time with the sea lions and marine iguanas basking on the lava rocks. We returned to National Geographic Endeavour II during sunset, which was a very special way to finish this amazing day.
