Visited by naturalist Charles Darwin in 1835, this island is a true gem in the Galapagos crown. Santiago is a large, active volcano with stunning landscapes and wonderful wildlife. Here we kayaked, explored by Zodiac, snorkeled, and hiked. All of these activities took place in different areas of the island in order to offer our guests multiple opportunities for a true expedition experience.

A great array of animals live around the rocky shores, as well as beneath the waves where we can observe and photograph them with ease.

Today was the last of many great days of exploration in this remarkable archipelago. We return home with stunning memories of a truly unique place.
