Early this morning the National Geographic Explorer navigated its way through the narrow channels and between the many picturesque islands toward the spectacular fjord known as Seno Montanas – the fjord of mountains.

After breakfast we headed ashore in the Zodiacs to get an up close view of the enormous Bernal Glacier which was easily accessible through a beautiful forest trail. We enjoyed the remarkable scenery all morning and reluctantly returned to the ship for another delicious lunch at midday.

In the afternoon the National Geographic Explorer navigated through the famous White Narrows with huge cliffs towering above us on all sides. What an epic day in Patagonia!
