Today was Haines day! Every time we bring our guests to Haines, they love it…and today was no different. It was a busy day filled with a wide variety of activities, including fly fishing, cycling, visiting a Tlingit village, river floating, and summiting Mt. Riley. Some guests spent the day looking around town and visiting shops, breweries, and museums. Each family chose their own adventure today, and everyone came back smiling. It was another winning day in Haines, Alaska. At sunset, we feasted on locally caught Dungeness crab. During evening tea, the Bridge Team spotted a large group of Dall’s porpoises and then a group of feeding humpback whales! It was the best day ever here in Southeast Alaska. Tomorrow is our last full day on board National Geographic Sea Bird. It will be magical because tomorrow is GLACIER DAY!
