Our last day exploring the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve began with an overcast morning. Before breakfast we explored Supay Creek. A group went by kayak while the rest went on the skiffs. The temperature was ideal and the birds were so active that they allowed us to enjoy each of them.

After breakfast, Iricahua Creek was waiting for us too. More birds showed up as well as nice raptors. The forest was held under water allowing us to see most of the canopies to our eye level.

Our afternoon activities were done first in the nice village of Puerto Miguel. Here our guest had the opportunity to enjoy some of the giant water lilies and later purchase some of the lovely art craft that is done in the village.

Before returning to the Delfin II, we explored Yarapa Creek. It was the best way to say farewell to the mighty Upper Amazon.
