Our day began with the thump thump thump thump of helicopter blades as they landed on the beach to take anyone who was keen, up for a hike and swim at the iconic Mitchell Falls. There, we enjoyed a rare close encounter with endemic monjons and the unusual opportunity to safely swim in crocodile country.
The afternoon had more treats in store—we landed just across from Wollaston, where some light scrambling was rewarded with a magnificent gallery of ancient aboriginal art. The Aussie BBQ and always-popular crew show topped off an incredible day.
