Our first full day aboard National Geographic Sea Lion was set in iconic Tracy Arm-Fords Terror Wilderness, where we cruised up to South Sawyer Glacier. Exploring amongst the icebergs, bergy bits, and growlers, everyone was stunned by the glittering blue ice while kayaking and Zodiac cruising. It was the first time seeing ice and snow for one Floridian family, adding to the magical morning.

As a sweet surprise after lunch, Global Explorers crafted their own glacier with ice cream, blue food coloring, crumbled cookies, and chocolate chips. The evening ended with a stunning rainbow and a blow of a humpback whale in the distance. What a way to start this voyage!
