Sailing from Juneau through Stephens Passage, National Geographic Sea Lion cruised into Holkham Bay to the entrance of Tracy Arm-Fords Terror Wilderness. Guests spent a remarkably beautiful morning kayaking in Dawes Cove awing at the glacial silt laden waters and majestic waterfalls littering the cliffsides.

In the afternoon, National Geographic Sea Lion moved further up the fjord towards Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier. Guests took Zodiac tours to the glacier’s face, where they spotted a harbor porpoise, harbor seals, a mountain goat, and Arctic terns. After touring the glacier, guests were treated to cocktails, recap, and dinner, followed by an evening presentation on “Sculpting Southeast Alaska” by Naturalist Patrick MacQuarrie.
