The DER below is from the expedition to Cuba that began on March 1, 2017.

Overnight, Panorama II sailed east along the Caribbean coast of Cuba to reach Trinidad, a charismatic and colorful town in the geographic heart of the island. Founded in 1514 and named for the Holy Trinity, Trinidad’s rich history includes piracy, sugar cane export, and the intervals of economic isolation that have left it a snapshot of centuries past frozen in time. Today we explored both the town itself as well as the nearby Valley of the Sugar Mills and forests of the Escambray Mountains.
