An early morning arrival and docking at Wrangell, Alaska gave a good departure point for a variety of activities. A short and casual hike from the dock through part of the town of Wrangell was one available option; these guests also visited Petroglyph Beach and the Wrangell Museum. Others adventured off via jet boats. One group traveled up the fastest flowing navigable river in North America: the Stikine River. They viewed waterfalls, large numbers of harbor seals, and a glacier reflecting blue and white hues under a sunny sky — guests described the experience as magical and really fun. Another group visited Anan Creek where several brown and black bears were fishing for salmon — they even saw a mother black bear with her two cubs. For the afternoon, we all came together to enjoy an interactive presentation at Chief Shakes Tribal House.
