What an amazing day! Today we explored the jungle but also learned about the people living in this remote and isolated region on Earth. We visited the Yarapa River, where we found monkeys, macaws, parrots, and a wide variety of small birds and reptiles. In the afternoon we spent a few hours with the local residents; the experience was very enriching for our intrepid explorers.
