Today we woke up, ready to explore more exotic inhabitants of the Peruvian rainforest. We went on a ride along the river to spot a large number of new birds to our expedition. Along the ride, we spotted some horn screamers, yellow and blue macaws, black collar hawks, neo-tropical cormorants, monksai monkeys, squirrel monkeys, striated herons and we were extremely lucky to have a pair of scarlet macaws fly above us.
In the morning, we also had the opportunity to go kayaking along the calm waters of Zapote River. There was an opportunity to also go on a ride along the river bank searching for wildlife. We even had the opportunity to visit a small community, where locals had handicrafts of all kinds, layout on display for us to admire, we talked to some of the children and brought some souvenirs back with us.
During the afternoon, we went exploring along Supai River. During our ride, we spotted some howler monkeys, a green iguana feasting on the foliage nearby, a couple of snake birds flying above us.
