This morning we began with a pre-breakfast activity. Our guest had the opportunity to explore the Amazon Natural Park. The day before, the rain didn’t allow us to visit this private reserve. So, we explore the park and enjoyed the 8 hanging bridges that are located close to the canopy of the forest.
After breakfast, we visited a small village called “9 de Octubre”. From our visit, we learned about the projects that the NGO called “Minga Peru” has been doing for the families of this villages. Our guests had the joy to interact with the community in general and heard from them about the projects of fish farms, conservation and leadership.
Our afternoon activities were concentrated in a pristine creek called Nauta Cano. We explored the stream by skiffs and kayaks. Our wildlife sightings were spectaculars. It was an awesome way to finish our second day exploring the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve.
