We awoke the morning of our final full day on board with the sails up. Due to favorable winds, the ship was able to sail overnight through the Ionian Sea. We passed the north side of the easternmost Ionian Island, Kythira, which is the boundary between the Ionian and Aegean Seas. The winds died down after breakfast, and the sailors hit the rig to take down the sails as we entered the Aegean Sea.

Captain John Svendsen hosted a 10 a.m. "Coffee with the Captain" presentation on the lido deck to discuss the ongoing renovations and restorations of the Sea Cloud. After a short talk, he took guests on a walk around the ship to highlight specific renovation work.

After lunch, bridge tours were arranged for guests interested in learning more about the navigation features of the ship. This was followed by a special afternoon tea on the promenade deck. The evening kicked off with the Captain's Farewell Cocktail Party on the lido deck, followed by our grand five-course farewell dinner.
