Today we had the opportunity to visit the very small community of Amazonas, to see how people live here by the river, in a remote part of the World. The river is literally everything for the people here. It is not only the major mode of transportation, but it also provides them with their food. The adjacent forest also gives them food, and materials used to build their homes.
The Amazonas people where very happy to receive us and share a glimpse of their lives.
