The National Geographic Sea Bird spent the night anchored in the protected waters of Bahia Magdalena. From the anchorage we could see gray whales as they broke the surface. Today was our first day of whale watching from our expedition landing crafts, and we got much closer looks at mothers with calves and some adult California gray whales. We also got to explore the sand dunes once again where we found interesting bones and seashells, and got a nice view of a coyote.
