We enjoyed an exciting morning at Bartholomew Island. We began with a walk to the top of a large cinder cone with the most famous view of the archipelago. We had a great opportunity to explore the coast to look for boobies and penguins.
After breakfast, we went to a nearby beach and enjoyed the company of some Galapagos sea lions. We had fun snorkeling off the coast.
We motored to the next island and marveled at the magnificent landscape of Chinese Hat Islet. We snorkeled and explored the coast. We were pleased to discover a small group of Galapagos penguins enjoying the last moments of the day.
