We started our day at Bartholomew Island, on the southeastern end of Santiago Island. We set out early in the morning to explore this iconic place. On our way to the highest point on the island, we learned about the geology of the archipelago and enjoyed the spectacular scenery, including the emblematic Pinnacle Rock. Conditions for snorkeling were excellent, and our guests took advantage of the opportunity right after breakfast.

During our Ecuadorian feast for lunch, we moved to Rábida Island, where we had our second snorkeling excursion of the day and our first chance to go kayaking.

We finished the day with a walk on Rabida’s red sandy beach, inhabited by Galapagos sea lions.
