An iconic view of the surrounding archipelago is enjoyed by all and over 25 islands are viewed as we stand on volcanic ruins of this young island. We obtain a different perspective among the islands as we navigate into the afternoon towards Rabida Island. The bright red iron oxide stands out, as this is the only island like it in Galapagos. The subaquatic environment is explored, which included Galapagos fur seals, white tipped reef sharks, scorpion fish, and sting rays. The day ends against a gun-metal grey sky and the resting Galapagos sea lions on the beach.
