As we always like to do, this morning we woke up before dawn to explore the tributaries of the Amazon by skiff before breakfast. Just as the sun started to peek over the low vegetation we sped out in our skiffs, eager to explore the adjacent forest to the water. The air was so fresh and the different hues in the sky spectacular. We were soon to find many different species of birds and animals waking up and actively searching for a meal. Early morning here is definitely the best time of the day.

Later in the morning, after a fantastic breakfast, we visited a private reserve owned by a local community. Fitted in rubber boots, we explored by foot the trails of Casual. With the aid of local guides from the community, we got to see several of the interesting creatures of the Amazon Jungle, such as tarantulas, poison dart-frogs and more!
