Our Amazon adventure began today with an early morning skiff ride, followed by exploration of the rainforest on foot. Fitted in rubber boots provided by the ship, we made our way through the thick foliage, led by our expert naturalist guides who explained in detail how the tropical forest works. Later in the afternoon we also explored the Amazon tributaries by skiff, sighting many of the elusive creatures of the rainforest along the riverbank.
