After few days enjoying Costa Rica now is time to go to our next destination, Panama.
After 12 hours of navigation and having cruised 120 nautical miles, finally we got to this piece of paradise call Granito de Oro, a small island not bigger than a supermarket parking lot and located right next to one of the most important Panamanian National Parks and largest island called Coiba island. Granito de Oro is a fantastic tiny island surrounded by a beautiful coral reef filled with marine life.
While some of our guest decided to enjoy the beach activities some of us went to explore the main island trough the Monkey Trail and we had a rain forest experience, rain came down upon us, but even with rain we got to see the elusive little bird called the Lance-tailed Manakin dancing and singing under the rain. After a delicious Brunch we start to send our guest to our little paradise and of course explore the reef for snorkeling, Kayaking and paddle-boarding.
Swimming with all kinds of little fish, turtles and white tip reef sharks was completely amazing. Now it is time to continue our journey to the grand finale that is the Panama Canal crossing.
