A lovely sunrise gave us the welcome to Panama’s biggest marine reserve, Coiba National Park. A pod of pantropical spotted dolphins decided to guide us to our anchorage by riding the bow of National Geographic Sea Lion. At the distance we could see several Islets that were also part of this National Park.

Even though our morning activity was snorkeling, a group of guest decided to start the morning by kayaking from the ranger station to the snorkeling spot. A tiny little islet could be seen. White sand, a couple of coconut tree and a big population of hermit crabs were the guardians of Granito de Oro Islet.

Making honor to its name, in this park we have the second biggest coral reef of the tropical eastern Pacific. The underwater world invited us to visit this tiny paradise.
