We tangoed on the Devil’s Dancefloor as we made our way north from mainland Norway to the Svalbard Archipelago with a late-night adventure to Bjørnøya to cruise the famed bird cliffs and zip through stone tunnels.
After a leisurely brunch, we enjoyed presentations from our photo experts. Captain Heidi Norling gave a behind-the-scenes look at National Geographic Resolution’s special design, and it was immediately clear how it had smoothed our ride through a lumpy North Sea. But, as the Captain says, “a ship is nothing without her crew”, so here’s a look at some of the exceptional people who give this ship her soul.
